Claire Willmott - BA (Hons)

Claire started her career as an English teacher 14 years ago, after graduating from St Mary's University, Twickenham, with a BA (hons) degree in English. 

Claire has undertaken a variety of roles, including Head of Year, SENCO, Head of Inclusion, Assistant Head and Deputy Head in various schools across the Trust. She previously worked in both primary and secondary phases.  During this time, Claire completed her National Award for SENCO Award and her NPQSL and was trust lead for Alternative Provision.

Claire's main aim as a leader in the education system is to make a difference to all the stakeholders she works with; she is proud of the relationships she works hard to develop with staff, students and parents alike and is excited to continue doing so as she begins her journey with Maiden Erlegh Trust as Headteacher.
