Opening for Safeguarding and Behaviour Governors
Are you interested in safeguarding and behaviour? Do you know of anyone who is?
Safeguarding is given the highest priority in all of our schools.
In order to maintain our high standards, we need one member of the governing body with a specific remit for safeguarding and behaviour. They must be willing and able to act as a ‘champion’ for the school’s work but also to be a critical friend, ensuring effective and compliant practice.
We are particularly interested to hear from anyone with safeguarding knowledge and/or experience (from any sector).
Interested parties do not need to be parents, though parent applicants would be very welcome. This position is not open to Maiden Erlegh Trust employees. Some experience of safeguarding/behaviour management is required but experience of school governance is NOT essential as we would provide training.
We have positions available at Cranbury College, Maiden Erlegh School and Maiden Erlegh School in Reading.
If you are interested or would like to discuss the role, please email Vicky Boatman, Clerk to the Board of Trustees (trustees@maidenerleghtrust.org). Closing date is Wednesday 13 July 2022.
